I am really excited about the great music coming to the River Region in April... Colbie Caillat is coming April 16th to the Riverwalk Amphitheater.. (http://www.etix.com/) and Michael McDonald is coming to MPAC on April 30th (http://www.mpaconline.org/). We are so lucky to have great music and I encourage everyone to pass the word around. I went shopping today at Victoria's Boutique and got my hair done at Indulgence and they were so excited. Make sure you keep listening to MIX 103 for your chance to win tickets. We can get more great artists as long as Montgomery supports our local venues!

Day 16 after lipo.. I had a good Easter and was able to get some free time to chill and take a pic for before and after. Still some swelling to go down but you can see results already... I go back in a few weeks, once swelling is all done and get measurements!

Day 11 after lipo.. I went to visit Dr. S @ Troy Cosmetic Surgery today.. (3/30/10). I am going to take some pics middle of the week in the same pants so we can all see the progress. I started retaining water on Thursday and called Dr. S's office and got a water pill called in and had to go home and put my feet up, and that took care of it. Great customer service and great care from the entire staff and Dr. S @ Troy Cosmetic Surgery. There is still swelling. It takes a long time for it to go down. I am feeling much better. There is still a small section of my inner tigh that is "heavy" feeling. That is where he did the most of the body jet lipo. Everything looks good and the bruising is already starting to go down. I am so excited to be beach ready soon. More info soon.. Be looking for pics on Wednesday ... L

Day 6 after lipo... I know I said that I would post yesterday but got so busy and then so tired. I forget how tiring it is to be sore. But the good news is I am starting to see a difference already. I am wearing a tight girdle (for lack of a better term) for shaping purposes and it does help with the pressure in my legs that I feel after the lipo. The bruising started on Mon/Tuesday and really hasnt gotten any worse. So much better than with the previous lipo. I am getting around better. And am ready to be back at 100%.. Soon -but I am impatient. I have to wear the girdle for 30 days after the procedure. Not too bad.. I will be posting some after pics in the same workout pants soon.. Day 3 after lipo..I am doing good this am. I was worried about being able to get around quickly this am and getting ready for work and not making us late. All went good. My legs are a little tight this am. The bruising has kicked in but not too bad.. Nothing compared to the combituck. I am really excited.. The swelling is staring to go down and I am seeing results. Yesterday was good because JT and I bought Twilight and New Moon and me and the girls stayed in bed and watched them both. I am now ready to read Eclipse again and I can't wait for the 3rd movie! More updates tomorrow.

March 21st.. Day 2 after my liposuction.. I am doing really good considering. The bruising has started a little bit in my inner thighs.. That is where most of the body jet lipo took place. I am in a girdle from hell for 28 more days and yes I am counting. Really though it feels good to have it on. Dr. S says it will help with the sculpting. Having my mom come up was really cool. It was nice to be the daughter again. She helped with everything even had time to do a load of laundry, make breakfast - cinnamon rolls- and cupcakes with the girls. While she was waiting on me to get thru w/my procedure, Dr. S gave her some botox too! As with the combituck, the getting up and down is the hardest. I fine once I get going. JT has been great. We walked around the block last night, slowly.. He grilled last night and has been such a help. I will be at work on Monday - we have a busy week. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to spend more quality time w/kids and spend more time as a family. Well this past weekend, we defiantly accomplished that.. Saturday was our family date night.. We watched Night at the Museum: "Battle of the Smithsonian" and got great candy too... We all loved it and then on Sunday we decided to include the kids with our Fondue dinner. No steak or fish, but we had pineapples, green apples, marshmallows and bananas.. We had chocolate and cheese as the choices for dipping. We had so much fun. The night ended with the kids throwing marshmallows at Snickers, the cat, and watching the doggies chase the marshmallows and Snickers.. - racing to get the marshmallows.. between Freddie and Bam Bam - there are no marshmallow leftovers.. hee hee...

What a great wrap up to the weekend. The kids are looking forward to Spring Break in 2 weeks and counting...
